im staring at the asphalt wondering whats buried underneath

so i made it through hurricane katrina (and wonderfully enough, so did the baby oak tree in my front yard). i didnt even lose power for more than a few seconds. it was a bit anticlimatic really. the best thing about all this is that it moved faster than anticipated and is already gone! you know what that means? i get out of my house today! yessssssss!

i FINALLY saw michael yesterday. i was only there for like 2 hours but its still something. after that i was forced into my house where for a few hours everyone was mad at everyone else which was rather unpleasant. even more unpleasant was the fact that when my parents went outside to yell some more (i suppose because they didnt want us to hear) the stood right in front of my bedroom window so i heard everything. the worst part of this situation was that their conversation was basically my mom was trying to convince my dad that im awful, and my dad just saying anything to calm her down. ::sigh::

wednesday was one of the best days in a while though. school was awesome because my calc test was ridiculously easy and i think i got 100% on my spanish quiz which makes me very happy. also, rachel baked cookies for us! then after school was the best buddies meeting, then the drama board meeting, then home for a quick change of clothes before running off to my riding lesson. a good day all around.

I agree, it was totally anticlimatic.

I too was forced into my house, and wasn't that happy about it either. =\

the only thing worse than a hurricane is......an earthquake and if there were no more brownies at the meeting.
